"Mystical Sheep"
Castration
Castration should be done to any ram that is not being kept for breeding and should be done within 1-2 days of the lamb being born and no longer than 1 week. Castration can be done by the rubber band method. To get the proper equipment, go to your local livestock store.
DOCKING
ALL sheep should be docked. Having long tails can cause many problems. It's hard to breed ewes and it sometimes can encourage maggots. Docking should be done 1-2 days after the lamb is born and no longer than 1 week. Docking can be done by the rubber band method. To get the proper equipment, go to your local livestock store.
